Sponsored Advertising

All search engines and many websites offer sponsored advertising but the most successful sponsored advertising  company is Google. Google sponsored advertising facility is called Google Adwords. The most frequently used type of sponsored advertising offered by Google is Pay Per Click (PPC) although Google also offers payment methods based on the number of impressions (i.e. you pay for each thousand impressions that your ad receives) and also a cost-per-acquisition (CPA) bid which is based on paying for a conversion, such as a sale or sign-up.

If your website is advertised in this way, using Google Adwords, then a link to your website would appear in the sponsored links section of the Google search results. There are usually on the right-hand-side of the main body of the results although on some occasions one or two of the sponsored links appear at the top of the Google search results page.

There are two ways that you can get your company advertised using Google Adwords. One is by creating your own Google adwords campaign the other is by using a search engine marketing company to create the Google adwords campaign for you.
